Patricia Galloway Jordan

Patricia Galloway Jordan, 71, of Aurora passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was a member of White Hill Free Will Baptist Church where she served as the treasurer, Sunday school teacher and was a member of the ladies auxiliary. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service as the Aurora Postmaster.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Jordan; son, Derek Jordan and wife, Janie, of Winterville; daughter, Karen Gammon and husband, Ashley, of Winterville; brother, Bill Galloway of Washington; sister, Barbara Brown of La Grange; and five grandchildren, Michael Jordan, Claire Jordan, Morgan Whitehurst, Jordan Singer and Scott Gammon.

Her funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Greenleaf Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to White Hill FWB Church Building Fund, PO Box 519, Aurora, NC 27806.
