Charles Roscoe Mason
October 30, 1952 — July 28, 2015
Charles R. Mason, 62, of Arapahoe, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
He was a Mason with Berne Lodge in New Bern and was employed at Fleet Readiness Center East in Cherry Point, NC for the past 34 years.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn B. Mason of the home; one son, Jonathan Hunter Mason and wife, Grace; one sister, Ida Marie Edwards of Chocowinity; one niece and family; and one nephew and family; one grandchild, Blake Mason; one step-grandchild, Samantha Hardison and special friends and co-workers.
His funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Sadler and the Rev. Jesse Crisp officiating. Interment will follow in Oriental Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
