Frances Gayle White

Frances Gayle White, 81, of Grantsboro, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a member of Trent Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired registered nurse fromt Craven Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth “Lib” Jones; husband, Bob Hardin; one son, Tom Hardin; and a grandchild, Josh Hines.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Philip White of the home; one son Jim Hardin and wife, Tammy of Greenville; two daughters, Pam Gardner and husband, Barry of Raleigh, Roberta Caton and husband, Tracy of Grantsboro; one brother, Marvin Strickland of Aydin, Turkey; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 15 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Lewis officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Baptist Children’s Home, Inc., 204 Idol St., Thomasville, NC 27360.
