Clinton Rawls Murray

Clinton Rawls Murray, 80, of Arapahoe passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He was an active member of Arapahoe Free Will Baptist Church, the church choir and the Bethlehem Walk. He graduated from Pamlico County High School and E.C.U. He then taught Industrial Arts in Virginia and North Carolina schools. He enjoyed hunting and sharing time with family.

Clinton had dreams to fulfill, but handled what life gave him with dignity.

He is survived by his brother, Tommy Murray and wife, Judy, of Arapahoe; sister, Linda Murray Ford, of New Bern; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 16th at Arapahoe FWB Church with the Rev. Tommy Bulla officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Greenleaf Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Arapahoe FWB Church, PO Box 117, Arapahoe, NC 28510.
