Henry Gerald Nethercutt

Henry Gerald Nethercutt, 75, of Reelsboro passed away Friday, October 9, 2015, at home.

He retired from Pamlico County High School after 30 years of teaching the sciences of Physics, Chemistry & Biology. He became a self-taught taxidermist earning multiple regional and state awards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter G. & L. Odell Nethercutt.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Francis Nethercutt; two sons, Barry Gerald Nethercutt and wife, Sherry, of Grantsboro and Anthony Page Nethercutt and wife, Bonnie, of Reelsboro; daughter, Niki Gale Waters and husband, Jeffrey D., of Bogue; brother, Alsa Graham Nethercutt and wife, Christine, of Pink Hill; 10 grandchildren, Tristan, Dillon, Sara, Sabra, Ambra, Talon, Mary, Dustin, Chase & Chandler; and three great-grandchildren.

His memorial service will be held 7 p.m., Monday, October 12th at the Pamlico County High School Auditorium with the Rev. Owen Lupton officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives prior to his memorial service Monday, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home.
