William Kenyon "Ken" Bush

William Kenyon “Ken” Bush died in his sleep Thursday, December 10, 2015 in the loving grace of his wife, Mary Kevin Bush of 38 years and his daughters, Katherine Taylor Bush of Chapel Hill, and Victoria Bush of New Orleans, LA.

Ken was born May 12, 1950 in Summit, NJ, and spent much of his formative years in Kennett Square, PA and Charleston, W.V. He graduated from Mercersburg Academy and Boston University with a degree in Economics.

Ken Bush, above all was an amazing husband and father. He would skip out of work to take his daughters to movies in the afternoon, give them impromptu business and economic lessons, and gave all he had to them in every way. Ken was also an amazing husband, married to the strong and beautiful Kevin Bush for 38 years. He told me before he died that, “You’re mother is my best friend and the best person I’ve ever met.”

Ken was also a Vietnam Vet and a small business owner, running Broad Creek Landscaping for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenyon Taylor Bush and Pauline Beaver Bush.

He is survived by his wife, his daughters, his sister, Helen Bush Sittler of Providence RI, and her children, Taylor, Loring and Thea Sittler.
