Edna Hopkins Johnston

Edna Hopkins Johnston, 82, of Oriental passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Granstbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was a United Methodist was a member of AARP and the Ladies Veteran’s Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Johnston.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Altman of Lexington, SC, Sharon Meadows and husband, Bob, and Judy Robinson and husband, Tom, all of Minnesott Beach; her son, David Johnston Sr. and wife, Pamela, of Bridgeton; seven grandchildren, Gil Altman, Mark Willis, Lindsey Willis, Michelle Robinson, Chris Robinson, David Johnston Jr. and Bradley Johnston; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, December 20th at Johnston Cemetery in Oriental with the Rev. Penny Dollar Farmer officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening at Bryant Funeral Home.
