Bert Thomas Norman

Bert Thomas Norman, 83, of Arapahoe, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Bayview Nursing & Rehab Center.

He was a member of Arapahoe Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tollie & Joella Sadler Norman; brothers, Gerald and Mahew Norman; and sisters, Ione Best, Joyce Barnes & Ada Holton.

He is survived by one sister, Janice “Bell” Gaskins and husband, Wayne, of Florida; brother, James Bryant Norman and wife, Bonnie, of Bedford, Va.; and nephews, Buddy Best & wife as well as Mr. Bert’s caregiver, Linda, J. Roger Best, and J. Howard Best & wife, Mary.

His funeral will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 28th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Bryan officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Barnett Cemetery, Hobucken.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
