Myron Montague Banks, Jr.

Myron Montague Banks, Jr., 72, of New Bern passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016, at home.

When he wasn’t at work as an electrician at Weyerhaeuser, he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and making them laugh.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pamela “Pam” Fore Banks; daughter, Dianna Wheeler and husband, Craig; son, Brian Banks and wife, Emily; sister, Jeannette Hudson and husband, Richard “Dick”; sister, Rosalie Peacock and husband, George; and grandchildren, Kristen Wheeler, Kaitlyn Wheeler, Maya Banks, Leo Banks, and Cora Banks.

In celebration of Myron’s life, family and friends are invited to his memorial service at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m., Sunday, January 31st with the Rev. Stephen Prescott officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to 3HC Home Health and Hospice Care, 214 Main St., Pollocksville, NC 28573.
