Carolyn Virginia Byrd Williams

Carolyn Virginia Byrd Williams, 75, of Grantsboro passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

A devout servant of the Lord, she attended Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a loving wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Annette Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse J. Williams; sons, Jesse Williams of Grantsboro and Tommy Williams of Oriental; daughter, Patricia Williams of Grantsboro; brothers, Lonnie Byrd Jr. of Aulander, and Edward Byrd of Windsor; sisters, Barbara Tadlock of Windsor, Erma Ford of Roanoke Rapids and Jean Ward of Vanceboro; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held 2 p.m., Friday, February 5th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Sandhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
