Frances Little Grubb

Frances Little Grubb, 91, of Minnesott Beach continued her journey on February 29, 2016 by natural causes while at the N.C. Veterans Home in Kinston.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Stewart Grubb; son, John Southerland Grubb; and sister, Betty L. Francis.

She is survived by her son, William Stewart Grubb; daughter-in-law, Shirley L. Tingle of Minnesott Beach; and grandson, Edward Stewart Grubb (son of, John S. Grubb) of Arapahoe.

Frances served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the capacity of lab technician and continued her career as a lab technician at Alexandria Va. Hospital, Circle Terrace Hospital and retired from Craven County Hospital. During her life she was actively involved with the Fairfax Virginia Garden Club, Oriental Women’s Club, N.C. Basket Association, and Tryon Palace Volunteer.

Fran was a loving mother. She loved people and leaves behind many friends.

There will be no local service. The family will receive friends at Fran’s home on Sunday, March 6th from 1 to 4 p.m.
