Adora Dawn Potter Scott

Adora Dawn Potter Scott, 64, of New Bern passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016.

She was a member of Saints Delight FWB Church. An avid supporter of Colonial Capital Humane Society, she loved and cared for cats.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dennis Scott; two sons, U.S. Air Force (Ret.) Robert Scott Jr. and Brad Scott, both of New Bern; brother, Ralph Potter of Cove City; nieces, Linda Taylor of New Bern and Jackie Randall of Cove City; as well as other nieces and nephews.

Her graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, March 10th at New Bern Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Holton officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Colonial Capital Humane Society, PO Box 326, New Bern, NC 28563.
