Edna William Swain

Edna Williams Swain, 67, of New Bern passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Heber Williams & Lossie Bell Manning Williams; son, Ray Wood Jr.; and three brother, David, Horace & Sammie Williams.

She is survived by two loving daughters, Donna Wood New (Jeffrey) and Wendy Wood Walker; her husband of 14 years, James A. Swain Jr.; sister Joyce Williams Moore (Bill); sister-in-law, Wanda Williams; two stepchildren, James Allen Swain and Ann Honeycutt; grandchildren, Consuela Agayoff, Kimberly Whitfield (Ryan), Amanda McVey, Rebecca Simpson, Elizabeth Wood, Samantha New and Will Walker; five great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and step-greatgrandchild; and many nieces nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was a kind and loving soul that would help anyone. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Her memorial service will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, March 24th at New Bethlehem FWB Church with the Rev. Ashley Trodgon and Rev. Riley Green officiating.
