Troy Dupree Potter, Jr.

Troy Potter, Jr., 60, of Mesic, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

He was born on Easter Sunday, April 10, 1955. He spent his life in Pamlico County operating the family farm. His passions in life were music, whether playing or producing sound for other events and riding his Harley.

He is survived by his two sons, Eric and AJ Potter, one granddaughter, Chloe Potter; two sisters, Cheryl Potter and Brenda Wilkinson as well as many friends and a special brotherhood of musicians who meant the world to him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Bertha Potter and his daughter, Jessica.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 26, at the Jones Family Cemetery on Lumber Landing Road in Mesic with the Rev. Joyce Swimm officiating.

A reception to celebrate his life will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Firehouse Church, 7759 Hwy 55 E., New Bern, NC 28560 to be used for the Glory of God as determined by the pastors and congregation whom have meant so much to him.
