Nancy Ray Sumrell Caraway

Nancy Ray Sumrell Caraway, 94, of Grantsboro passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was a member of the Concord Christian Church, a Sunday School teacher at Rock of Zion Baptist Church, president of the Residence Association at Grantsbrook and won awards in the Senior Olympics arts and crafts.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Caraway; one son, Jerry Caraway; and one daughter Joyce Spivey.

She is survived by one son, Larry Caraway of Alliance; three daughters, Rachel Buck of Stonewall, Ruth Smith of Alliance, and Janice Ipock of Reelsboro; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
