Dolores Hixson Briggs

Dolores Hixson Briggs, 77, of Bayboro passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was a member of Bayboro Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Peggy Tompkins and Brenda Frazier.

She is survived by one son, David Hixson; three daughters, Wanda Binz, Lisa Holmes and Anita Hixson; five sisters, Anne Witt, Elaine Harper, Pat Burke, Joan Gray and Diane Williams; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Bayboro Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Fitzgerald officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Bayboro Baptist Church, PO Box 276, Bayboro, NC 28515.
