Helen Hooker Dixon Barbee
April 28, 1933 — June 11, 2016
Helen Hooker Dixon Barbee, 83, of New Bern passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016, at home.
She was a member of Tree of Life Ministry of New Bern.
She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Dixon of New Bern, Debra Dixon Bennett and Judy Lynn Dixon, both of Pollocksville; brother, Richard Hooker of Universal City, TX; and sister, Mary Broadway of New Bern.
Her graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 14th at Sandhill Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Lancaster officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Tree of Life Ministry of New Bern, PO Box 12862, New Bern, NC 28561.
