Henry Roscoe Rice, Sr.

Henry Roscoe Rice, Sr., 100, of Lowland passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He was a member and deacon of Wardens Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Potter Rice.

He is survived by his son, Henry R. Rice, Jr. and wife, Ruth, of Bayboro; his daughter, Myrna Fulford of Bayboro; three grandchildren, Denny Aultman, Henry Rice, III and Gregory Rice; and eight great-grandchildren.

His funeral will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 26th at Wardens Grove FWB Church with the Rev. John Carawan & the Rev. Earl Sadler Jr. officiating. Interment will follow immediately in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday night at Bryant Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Wardens Grove FWB Church, c/o Nancy Leary, 3940 Lowland Rd., Lowland, NC 28552.
