Elva Easom Hill

Elva Lee Easom Hill, 86, of Oriental passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hill.

She is survived by two sons, Dwight Hill (Janet) of Reelsboro and Johnny Hill (Theresa) of Arapahoe; daughters, Audrey Harrison (Steven) of Merritt, Phyllis Hardison (Gray) of Bayboro and Penny Williams (Jeff) of New Bern; brothers, Robert Easom of Wade, NC and Martin Easom of Hope Mills, NC; sister, Dolly Connor of Stedman, NC; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday, August 26th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Roach officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to one’s favorite charity or church.

The family would like to thank Grantsbrook Nursing and Rehab Center for their attentive care and kindness to our Mother.
