Edna Ireland Mayo

December 18, 1930 — November 26, 2016

Edna Ireland Mayo, 85, of Vandemere, passed away November 26, 2016, at PruittHeath – Trent Campus in New Bern.

She is survived by three sons, Roger Mayo of Beaufort, Perry Mayo Sr. of Grantsboro and Ernie Mayo of Bayboro; brother, Willie Earl Ireland of Bridgeton; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 29th at Celestial Memorial Gardens, Cash Corner.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Perry Mayo, 255 Riggs Rd., Grantsboro.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions made be made to Bryant Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
