Jason Lee Ireland, 39, of Lowland passed away, Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at UNC Hospitals-Chapel Hill.
He loved working as a commercial fisherman and was an avid hunter.
He is survived by his parents, Curtis “Stakes” and Jean Ireland of Lowland; sons, Christian Ireland of Lowland and Hunter Ireland of Reelsboro; brother, Cliff Ireland and wife, Linda, of New Bern; and sisters, Michelle McKay and husband, Randy, of Manteo and Julie Hannah and husband, Jason, of Bayboro.
His memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, December 10th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Sadler, Jr. officiating.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
Flowers are appreciated or the family suggested memorial contributions to one’s favorite charity.
