Dorothy Henries Rose

Dorothy Virginia Henries Rose, 94, of New Bern passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016.

She was a faithful member of Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O.V. Rose; three granddaughters, Gina Rose Lupton, Carol Rose and Angela Rose; three brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her son, O.V. Rose, Jr. and wife, Betsy, of Washington; daughter, Wanda Brothers Atkinson of New Bern; three grandchildren, David Rose and wife, Laura, James Brothers and Timothy Brothers; 16 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, December 15th at Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon officiating. Interment will be in Lowland Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Bridgeton Pentecostal Holiness Church.
