Katherine Louise Clos

Katherine Louise (Kathy) Clos, born August 25, 1951, of Hobucken, NC, formally of New Bern, NC, died from complications due to an extended illness.

She was the daughter of Charles Melvin and Merriell (Bollinger) Johnson who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Joseph Clos (2012); brother, Thomas Johnson; sisters, Betty Lou Cook, Ollalee Dale Conner and Onnolea Jean Jennings; her soon to have been stepdaughter, Tiffany Rochelle; and great-nephew, Airman Caleb S. Carr.

Left to cherish her memory is Ruben Rochelle, her loving and caring fiancée; daughter, Crystal Morris Owczarzak (John) of Levittown, Pa; son, Randall Scott Jordan of NC; granddaughter, Katrina Owczarzak; grandson, John Owczarzak III, both of Levittown, Pa; stepchildren, Shannon Neurohr of Ottawa, Ill., Shawn Clos of New Bern; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; special niece, Amy Dawn Carr of Fountain, NC; brothers, John Johnson of Servia, WV, Larry “Jim” Johnson of Wilsie, WV; sisters, Zelda Duffield of Boiling Springs, NC, Mary Ruth Hacker of Wilsie, WV and Deborah Bollinger-Johnson of Fountain, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was always known for her unwavering love for her family and overwhelming desire to help others. The saying she lived by was, “Right, wrong or indifferent, I love you”.

She always cherished the bond between herself and her two full sisters, Jeanie and Debbie, knowing nothing could or would ever break their bond and they were blessed by that.

As she requested, she was cremated and a private family graveside service will be held at the Johnson Family Cemetery in Wilsie, West Virginia, where she will be laid to rest at a later date.
