Jeffrey Wayne Padrick

Jeffrey Wayne Padrick, 54, of Grantsboro passed away Friday, January 27, 2017, at Vidant Medical Center.

He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was also a member and Vice President of the New Bern Chapter of Pure Platinum Motorcycle Club where he was known as “Cowboy”.

He was preceded in death by his father, Shellie Padrick and a sister, Beverly.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Dixon Padrick; mother, Sarah Jane McDermott; step-mother, Cookie Padrick; sons, Jeff Padrick Jr. (Bethany) of New Bern, Samuel K. Stejskal (Sherri) of Corpus Christi, TX and Steven M. Nyberg of Grantsboro; daughters, Brittany M. Nyberg of the home, Charmon Sadler of Grantsboro and Mykaela Hannappeo; sisters, Amy Tomei of Georgia, Patsy Creighton (Alex) of Chapel Hill and Kristine Cochran of New Bern; and three grandchildren.

His memorial service, with military honors, will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1st at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Pennington officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home, 107 Old Bay River Rd. Grantsboro.

In lieu of flowers the family requested contributions be made to either of Jeff’s favorite charities, American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839 or Kennedy Home c/o Baptist Children’s Home, PO Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27360 or any other charity of choice.
