Thomas Francis Mccue, Jr.

Thomas Francis McCue Jr., 78, of Merritt formerly of Babylon, Long Island, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and member of the American Legion, Bronx, NY. He also coached little league football for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas McCue, Sr.; mother, Mary McGee; brothers, Donald, Michael and Shawn McCue and Steven McGee; and sister, Joann Lee.

He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 55 years, Helga McCue; sons, Thomas F. McCue III and wife, Liz, and Timothy McCue and wife, Cassandra; sister, Maureen Natalie and husband, Louie; brother-in-law, Lud Wenderoth and wife, Barbara; and sister-in-law, Sue Bloodnick and husband, Marty; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
