Ricky Odell Sawyer

Ricky Odell Sawyer, 56, of Grantsboro, passed away, Monday, May 15, 2017, at home.

He was a member of the Pamlico County Rescue Squad and the Arapahoe Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emory Odell Sawyer, Jr and daughter, Ian McClenny.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Sawyer of Grantsboro; three daughters, Hannah Sawyer, Oliva Sawyer and Tiffany Sawyer, all of Grantsboro; one sister, Patricia Jones of Bridgeton; and four grandchildren, Taylee McClenny, Toby Alvizo, Tristan Alvizo and Isabella Wisecup.

His memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, May 19, at the Arapahoe Fire Department with the Rev. Blaney Rowe officiating.
