Jesse James Williams

Jesse James Williams, 81, of Grantsboro passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Jesse was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 11 years and retired from PCS Phosphate. He enjoyed the water and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Williams; youngest daughter, Annette Williams; brother, Robert Williams; and sister, Mildred Carey.

He is survived by sons, Jesse Williams of Grantsboro and Thomas Williams of Oriental; daughter, Patricia Williams of Grantsboro; brothers, Curtis and Alton Williams; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 26th at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Sandhill Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
