Charles Henry Stokes, Sr.

Charles Henry Stokes, Sr., of Aurora, North Carolina went home to His Lord on Thursday, July 20, 2017, while surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Stokes, son; Charles Henry Stokes Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Jacksonville, NC; son, William Lawrence Stokes and wife, Glenda; grandson, Ryan Christian Stokes, all of Raleigh, NC; and son, James Garson Farrow Stokes of Richmond, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Stokes of New Bern; mother, Sallie Stokes of Goldsboro; and sister, Francis Adams of Goldsboro.
His family will be holding a Celebration of Life at the West Main Baptist Church in Danville, Virginia on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 11:00 a.m.
