Nellie Spain Hopkins

Nellie Spain Hopkins, 88, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017, at home.

She will always be remember for the kindness, dedication and love she gave to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Doye Hopkins; son, Douglas Hopkins; and grandson, Jason Bibb.

She is survived by her son, Keith Hopkins of Marathon, Florida; two daughters, Sheila Hopkins of Aurora and Marlyn Antrobus (James) of Grantsboro; brother, Ernest Spain of Chesapeake, Va.; and one grandchild, James Bibb Jr.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, August 31st at Sandhill Cemetery, Reelsboro with the Rev. Dennis Goodwin officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Hobucken United Methodist Church, PO Box 123, Hobucken, NC 28537.
