Floyd Leonard Suitt, Jr.

Floyd Leonard Suitt, Jr., 80, of New Bern passed away peacefully Sunday, November 19, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Leonard Suitt, Sr. and his mother, Gurnie Page Suitt.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty D. Suitt of 60 years; sons, Chet Michael Suitt and wife, Judy F. Suitt and Brad Leonard Suitt (Reem F. Baloch and son, Caleb); grandchildren, David Michael Suitt, Kristen and Kaleigh; brother-in-law, Dan Honeycutt; nephew, Danny Honeycutt; and niece, Shelby Collins.

Mr. Floyd retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation and later from Floyd Suitt & Associates. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, kindness and his passion for golf.

His graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Greenleaf Memorial Park, 900 River Rd., New Bern, NC 28562 with visitation immediately following.
