Robert Lynn Rice

Robert “Bob” Lynn Rice, 61, of Olympia passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He was a member of New Hope Christian Church and retired from the U.S. Civil Service.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Rice.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce R. Rice and his brother, Ken Rice.

His funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 5th at New Hope Christian Church with the Rev. Mike Roach, Rev. Seth Jones, Rev. Riley Green & Rev. Eddie Phoenix officiating. Interment will be in Sandhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested making memorial contributions to one’s favorite charity.
