Albert "Honey" Franklin Roach

Albert Franklin Roach “Honey”, 95, of Reelsboro passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at Bayview Nursing & Rehab Center.

He was a member of Reelsboro Christian Church where he previously served as a deacon and treasurer.  He retired from Carolina Telephone & Telegraph after 44 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Roach; son, Albert Franklin “Frank” Roach, Jr.; grandson, Jeffrey “Jeff” Michael Roach; and sister, Joyce Rice.

He is survived by two sons, Dennis Roach and wife, Sarah Joyce, and Daniel Scott Roach and wife, Sue; one daughter, Patricia Roach Mills and husband, Dan; two sisters, Ruth Roach Smith and Clara Alice Banks and husband, Tommy; brother-in-law, George Bennett; five grandchildren Dana Smith (Jon), Jason Roach (Tara), Greg Roach (Ellie), Heather Jones (Bryan) and Josh Mills (Jamie); and 10 great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 30 ^th at Reelsboro Christian Church with the Rev. Riley Green and Rev. Mike Roach officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Sandhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Reelsboro Christian Church, PO Box 255, Grantsboro, NC 28529.
