Albin “Albie” Rhodes Henries, 73, of Dawson Creek, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Albie retired from Express Marine as Chief Engineer after 35 years of service. He was dedicated to attending church and fellowshipping with his church families as long as his health allowed. He enjoyed boating and fishing, riding his Harley, and being outdoors. He was a wonderful provider for his family, whom he loved dearly, especially his “grandbabies.”

He was preceded in death by his son, Albie, Jr.; his parents, Alvin and Mary Henries; two sisters; and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Patricia Rowe Henries; son, Jody Henries (Miranda); daughter-in-law, Ginny Webber (Michael); sister, Gladys Shelton; grandchildren, Brian Rhodes Henries (Chelsie), Brandon Daughety (Nancy), Michael Webber Jr. (Kayla), Brylei Simpson, and Angel Archer (Will); and three great-grandchildren, Levi, Lexi and Aydan.

His memorial service will be held 2:00 Saturday, April 2 ^nd at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel (now Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel).

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Children’s Miracle Network, 2100 Statonsburg Rd., Greenville, NC 27835 or Hospice of Pamlico, PO Box 6, Bayboro, NC 28515.
