Alex Luis Garcia, 25, of Oriental passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at home.

Alex had a kind, caring heart and was always willing to help anyone whenever possible. He loved cooking out or just being with his family and was passionate about all sports.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Kendor and Jennifer Garcia; sister, Alicia Marie Garcia; brother, Felix Luis Garcia; nephew, Matthew Key Boykin;  paternal grandparents, Jose and Elia Garcia; paternal great-grandfather, Jose Luis Garcia Revera; maternal grandfather, Richard and Gwen Thomas; paternal uncle and family, Jose and Kelly Garcia, Ema and Joaquin; paternal aunt and family, Maria and Lalo Garcia, Emir and Chloe; paternal aunt and family, Mirella and Shawn Brite, Isaiah, Ariana, Daylon and Dylan; paternal aunt and family, Lleni and Brandon Bersch, Isabella and Amelia; paternal uncle, Arandu Garcia; paternal great uncle and family, Eulalio Garcia Avila, Maria de Lourdes Gomez Flores “Lulu” and Ruben Garcia-Gomez; and maternal uncle and family, Nicky and Susan Thomas, Nicholas, Tyler, and Joshua.

His funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8 ^th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor A.B. Almore officiating.

The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
