Alice Daughety Ross

Alice Daughety Ross (Peanut), 72 of New Bern passed away Saturday, March 5 ^th .

She was born the daughter of Sam and Addie Daughety with ten siblings. She had a son Lee Daughtey and lived in Florida in her younger years but moved back in her 20s where she eventually met and married Wesley Ross and moved to Lowland, NC. She then had her 2 ^nd son Israel (Izzy) Ross and then a beautiful daughter Zoe Ross. She then spent most of her life raising and taking care of them and helping with her three beautiful granddaughters and stayed married for 34 years. After the passing of her son Izzy she moved back to New Bern where she rekindled some of her old friendships and made some new ones.

She is preceded in death by her son Israel (Izzy), her mom and dad, brothers Marvin, Sammy, Robert and Perry, and sisters Diane and Brenda (Dusty). She leaves behind her son Lee Daughety, daughter Zoe Bennett and three granddaughters Khloe, Hunter, Chastity and her former husband who she loved dearly, Wesley.
