Allen “Buddy” Jasper Jackson, Jr., 85, of Minnesott Beach passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022, at NC State Veterans Home, Kinston, NC.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Agnes Jackson; son, Walt Jackson; parents, Allen & Myrtle Jackson; sisters, Mary Brackin, Marjorie Deaver, & Aileen Rouse.
He is survived by his son, David Jackson and wife, Belinda, of LaGrange; daughter, Becky Brown and husband, Mike, of Kinston; seven grandchildren, Cody & Evan Jackson, Jake (Sonia) Brown, Emily Brown, Zach (Amelia) Brown, Garrett & Dalton Jackson; and two great-grandchildren, Orson & Everest Brown.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 12 th at Oriental Cemetery with military honors.
The family requested masks be worn due to family health issues.
