Alston Glenn Steele

Alston Glenn Steele, 60, of New Bern passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in a motor vehicle accident.

He is a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked for Walmart in New Bern for 20+ years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Steele and brother, Doug Steele.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Steele; son, Charley Steele; daughters, Tara Steele and fiancé, Chris Blanchard and Alexandria Steele; his significant other, Sara Simplicio; three grandchildren, Jacob Steele, Meadow Allen and Christian Coward; and his fur babies, Dillon and Sassy.

His memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 3 ^rd at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Dr. Scott Gleason officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.
