Alvin Neil Blount
August 23, 1952 — November 20, 2021
Alvin Neil Blount, 69, of Arapahoe passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
Neil retired from PCS Phosphate after 38 years of service as a millwright mechanic. He was an avid golf player who also loved to fish. His favorite band was Pink Floyd. He was a devoted father and doting grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hampton & Betty Blount; brother, Douglas Wayne Blount; and granddaughter, Madison Williams.
He is survived by his son, David Neil Blount; daughter, Amy Blount Sulkey (Michael); brother, Allen Blount (Denise); sister-in-law, Gloria Blount; and four grandchildren, Dylan Michael Blount, Landin Sulkey, Talan Sulkey, and Katelyn Denise Hollister, .
His memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 23 rd at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel.
