Amber Golden Montoya

Amber Lynn Golden Montoya, 38, of Grantsboro passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, in New Bern.

She loved her children and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed singing karaoke.

Amber was preceded in death by her father, Carlton Golden; her maternal grandparents, James Nobles and Marie Turnage Nobles; her paternal grandfather, Monnie “Bud” Golden; and paternal grandmother, Elsie Lee Golden.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Janice Nobles Smith (Robert); son, Hector Montoya, Jr.; daughters, Jocelyn Salazar, Ava Escamilla, and Carmen Molina; brothers, Eric Hardison (Lynn) and Christopher Golden (Carrie); sister and best friend, Heather Smith (Jason); and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 7th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow immediately in Alliance Methodist Church Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
