Beloved Father and Granddad

Arthur Wayne Ellis, a devout servant of God, was called home on March
13, 2024, at the age of 74. Born into this world on September 7, 1949,
in Wilmington, Delaware, he walked a path of faith and compassion,
leaving a legacy of unwavering devotion to the Lord.

Wayne was a man of humble spirit who donned the uniform of the Army
Medical Corps with a heart committed to service and healing. After his
honorable tenure in the military, he embraced a calling to shepherd
the flock as Pastor of Emergency Word Ministries, on the Eastern Shore
of Virginia.  His life was a testament to the grace of God, as he
engaged with various ministries throughout his life and offered his
final praise and worship at Motion Church in Granstsboro, North
Carolina.

In his earthly journey, Wayne was a beacon of light to his cherished
family. He is survived by his loving daughter, Trisha Warner;
son-in-law, Joseph Warner; and granddaughter; Amauryah Warner of
Wilmington, North Carolina and his treasured grandsons, Jayden Warner,
with spouse, Olivia, and Christian Warner, of Leland, North Carolina.
His enduring friendship was a blessing to Iris Mobley of Washington,
North Carolina and Michael Mobley of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina.
Arthur now joins his forebearers in eternal peace, his father, Edwin
Lee Ellis, his mother, Emma Jane Linton Ellis, and his brother, Ronald
Kennedy.

Wayne's life was a reflection of his hobbies; he found solace and
strength in the daily study of the Lord's Word, embodying gratitude
and respect for all of creation. He enjoyed studying the Bible,                                                                     spending time with his grandchildren, and imparting his knowledge of Jesus to them.

He played a significant role in his grandchildren's early upbringing and instilling
in them a deep love for the Lord. His departure is a solemn reminder to
cherish each moment and to live in harmony with the divine teachings.

The celebration of Arthur's life and his steadfast faith will be held at 10:00 a.m.,
on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Motion Church in Grantsboro, North
Carolina. Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home & Crematory in Alliance, North Carolina, is
entrusted with the arrangements, ensuring that Arthur's final journey
is handled with reverence and care.
