Barbara Jean Bell Boyd, 85, of Grantsboro passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Barbara was a long-time member of New Bethlehem OFWB Church were she served as the church secretary and was an active member of the ladies auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Garland Boyd; parents, Walter and Margaret Bell; sisters, Joyce Jones and Patsy Lee; and brothers, Linwood Bell and Ashley Bell.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Boyd Holley (Michael Allen); son, John Boyd (Deborah); sister, Betsy Golden; and four grandchildren, Ashley Marie Armstrong, Mary Catherine Boyd, Amanda Paige Boyd and Lincoln Boyd Brown.

Her graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 29 ^th at New Bethlehem OFWB Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ashely Trogdon and Pastor Dwayne Boyd officiating.
