Barbara Owens Nipper

Barbara Owens Nipper, 74, passed away December 26, 2021, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Dallas Owens and Hazel Edwards Nipper Purser; her husband, Mitchell Nipper; her son, Bryan Nipper; and her sister, Phyllis (Kay) Owens Perry.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Debbie Woodall (James); brothers, William “Bill” Owens (Mary), Marty Nipper (Debbie), and Ricky Nipper (Wanda); 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Barbara was a member of Word Fellowship Church. She considered serving others a blessing and was a mighty prayer warrior to many. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and is now resting in HIS arms.

There will be a Celebration of Barbara’s life on Saturday, January 8, at 2:00 pm at Word Fellowship Church, 532 Hale Road, Grantsboro, NC, 28529, with Pastor Owen Lupton officiating. A private burial will follow the service.

The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at 1:00 pm at the church.
