Betty Irene Roach Buck, 93, of Reelsboro passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at home.

Mrs. Betty was a faithful member of Reelsboro Pentecostal Holiness Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tim and Era Roach; son, Fredrick Earl Buck, Jr.; brothers, Joseph Roach and Dr. Laurie Roach; and sister, Jean Roach Hardison.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 74 years, Freddie Buck; children, Phyllis Buck, Joe Buck and wife, Debbie, and Tim Buck and wife, Lisa; sister, Carolyn R. Paradis; sister-in-law, Claudia Roach; five grandchildren, Cliff Buck and wife, Lisa, Becky Mitchell and husband, Michael, Kate Bennett and husband, Adam, Bethany Dunnebacke and husband, Joey, and Matthew Buck; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8 ^th at Reelsboro Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Alan Woodard officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Sandhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 7 ^th at the church and at other times at the home of Joe and Debbie Buck.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Reelsboro Pentecostal Holiness Church, 221 Neuse Rd., New Bern, NC 28560.
