Beverly Bland Holton lived out her life working and serving her family all to the glory of the Lord! On February 7, 2024, Beverly (Mrs. “B”) found rest after her long battle with cancer. Beverly passed peacefully at home with her husband and family.

Beverly was born in New Bern, NC on April 9, 1958 to Pete and Jean Bland as the oldest sister to Judy Fussell (Mike) and Jill Mele (Mauro). She has always loved sharing stories of being a young girl and growing up with so much love and appreciation for her family.

Beverly met the love of her life, Roy C. Holton Jr, and married September 7, 1983. Roy and Beverly took their two lives, and with diligence and trust, built a family legacy together that is a true blessing to us all. Beverly and Roy were blessed with four children together Jason Holton (stepson), Erik Smith (Crystal), Jennie Voliva (Dan), and Meredith Gaskill (Joshua). Some of Meema’s most cherished moments were made with her grandbabies: Kenlee Voliva, Koi Voliva, Emma Smith, Reid Smith, Kalani Voliva, Hudson Holton, Kolton Voliva, Graham Gaskill, and Grace Gaskill.

Beverly spent her life wanting to make her parents proud and living life in the fullness of her family and faith. Beverly trusted the Lord and loved what is true and honorable. She had a special way of making others feel loved and valued. Beverly enjoyed helping others through her professional career where she made many lifelong friends and days full of laughter.

We celebrate Beverly’s life on Saturday, February 10th at Celestial Memorial Gardens on Cemetery Rd in Vandemere, NC.  There will be a time of visitation at 10:00 am with a graveside service following at 11:00.
