Bonita “Bonnie” Gale Walker Paul, 79, of Alliance, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Bonnie retired from the Pamlico County Board of Education after 30+ years of service. She is a member of Mt. Zion OFWB Church. She enjoyed sitting on the beach and shopping but loved time spent with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Duh Faires; parents, Garland and Thelma Walker; and son, Gregory Paul.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Dudley Paul, Jr.; sons, Dudley Paul III, Gary Russell Paul, and Jamie William Paul (Crystal); brothers, Larry Walker (Linda) and Dale Walker (Michelle); sisters, Judy Branche and Cheryl McGowan; eight grandchildren, Gary Russell Paul, Jr., Hunter Blake Paul, Jared William Paul, Jayden Paige Paul, Caleb Reid Paul, Bentley Gregory Paul, Laynie Michelle Paul, and Lily Mae Paul; and three great-grandchildren, Teslynn, Tarynn, and Tate.

Her funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 11 ^th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
