Bonnie M. Broome

Bonnie Murphy Broome, 62 of Pamlico County, NC went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2022. She was born April 9, 1959 to Selma and Louie (Dump) Murphy.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Bonnie grew up in Carteret County NC with two older sisters, a twin brother, and a younger sister. Bonnie had a love for her family like no other. She was always willing to lend a hand to any one in need. She was a loving, caring, devoted mother to April, Marie, Jr., and Matt, all of Pamlico County.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louie (Dump) Murphy; an older sister, Mary Lee Willis; a brother-in-law, Johnny Willis; her mother, Selma Lupton Murphy; a nephew, Shane Willis; and her oldest daughter, April Lynn Godwin.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband Robert Broome, three children JR, Marie and Matt Noe; siblings, Jeannine Willis (Perry); Johnny Murphy (Cindy), and Martha Lewis (Curly); five grandchildren, Gavin Godwin, Logan Godwin, Austin Noe, Angel Armstrong and Shayne Riggs; one great granddaughter, Kyleigh Bryant. Along with a few cousins, and many nieces, nephews and special friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requested memorial contributions be made to Bryant Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
