Carl “Doug” Douglas Milburn

Carl Douglas “Doug” Milburn, 71 of Minnesott Beach, NC passed away Friday, July 14, 2023 at his home after a brief illness.

He was born November 18, 1951 to Carl Andrew Milburn and Janet Marie Minnick Milburn in Winchester, VA. He proudly served numerous years in the United States Marine Corps and retired to coastal NC. An avid boater and fisherman, Doug loved being by the water. He enjoyed venturing to yard sales, auctions and flea markets acquiring antiques and collectibles. He mostly enjoyed his time with friends and family and loved to make others laugh.

Doug was preceded in death by his wife, Cindi and son, Chad Andrew Bradstreet.

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Cherie Hogue; sons, Michael Bradstreet (Jeannine) and Gary Bradstreet; siblings Scott Milburn (Delores), Sharon Shanholtz-Flick (Steve), Donna Huffmon, Charles “Dickie” Milburn, Carla Smeltzer;  3 grandchildren, Jessica, Drew and Alix; and many nieces and nephews.
