Carlos Alva Monday
October 9, 1928 — August 17, 2018
Carlos Alva Monday, 89, of Arapahoe passed away Friday, August 17, 2018, at home.
He retired in 1983 after 34 years of service with C & P Telephone Company in West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, brother, and a grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Monday; three sons, Mike Monday (Melinda) of Oak Island, NC, Kim Monday (Janet) of Morgantown, WV, and Jeff Monday (Carol) of Stafford, VA; sister, Lorain Rappold (Steve) of Hurricane, WV; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In honor of Mr. Monday’s wishes, no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to The American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
