Carol Sadler Whitfield

Carol Lee Sadler Whitfield, 81, of Hobucken went peacefully to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 31, 2022.

She worked as a cosmetologist for many years and was very fond of her clients, who she often felt were close friends and family.

She was a member of Hobucken United Methodist Church and had a strong faith and love for God.

Carol loved her children and grandchildren, but the apples of her eye were her great-grandchildren, Austin, Allen, Sariah, Cassidy, Addi, Salter, Alvagayle, Adam, Grace, Camille, Avery, and Ryleigh.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Deborah Edwards and Pam Hannah (Terry); stepchildren, Kelly Montiel (Adam), Kim Hill, and Mark Whitfield; siblings, Jackie Buck (Roy), Janice Demere, Robert Sadler, Karen O’Neal (Herbert), Wilma Peabody (Frankie), and Stella Spence; grandchildren, Alexis Ireland, Coty Hannah, Justin Long, Kristen Lee, Brittany Cooper, Ariel Moore, Heather Montiel, Dillon Montiel (Lindaay), and Janice Whitfield and her many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Whitfield; parents, Sherwood and Irene Sadler; daughter, Christy Voliva; stepson, Eddie Whitfield; and grandson, Shai Montiel.

A private service will be held at a later date.
