Carolyn Rowe Rice

Carolyn Rowe Rice, 79, of Alliance, NC, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026. She was a loving sister, mother, and devoted Granny to so many! Her generous spirit brought joy and happiness to many.

Carolyn was a warrior, brave and resilient. She stands in our hearts as a reminder of strength, perseverance and compassion.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; her grandson, Christopher; and great-grandson, Kamden.

Carolyn is survived by her three children, Lisa Rice Hess (Charlie), Fred Rice (Stanley), and Timmy Rice (Sue); five grandchildren, Dana, Sommer, Brittany, Tobey and Haley; two step grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.

Carolyn will forever be in our hearts! You will not be forgotten.

A visitation will be held at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 13th from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, you may direct any donations in memory of Carolyn to any Alzheimer's or Dementia organization you wish.
